Sunday 5/17, Fayetteville, AR, 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm: Book signing at the Block Street Block Party. As a co-host of Occupy Radio, Rivera has a special place in her heart for community radio. So she will be signing books at KPSQ’s Block Party booth to show her concrete support for their efforts to build a genuine community radio station in Fayetteville. Early word is that their booth will be up on the Square, next to the OMNI Center’s booth. So look for all of them there.

      Deb, I’ll be leading a workshop at the Portland State University Students United for Nonviolence (SUN) event on April 18th. It is an all-day event, but I am speaking in the morning from 9am-12pm. Come visit! I’ll have more info up soon. I believe it is a free event open to the public at Hoffman Hall.

          Yes, pre-registration is recommended … and you get a free copy of The Dandelion Insurrection and Study Guide if you are one of the first 100 to register. The event itself is free. Here’s the info:

          April 18, 8:30am-5:30pm, – Hoffman Hall, PSU

          Breakfast served from 8:30 – 9am, refreshments in the afternoon

          Free Tickets available at the PSU Box Office or online (preregistration required)
